EDUCULT is a member of the consortium commissioned by the Chamber of Labour Vienna, and coordinated by FORBA – Working Life Research Centre. The project aims at tracing options to analyse the available data to describe the interface of freelance and employed work. EDUCULT focuses on the cultural and cultural education sector.
Existing studies and analysis in the Austrian context are based on limited and fragmented data, thus hardly comparable.
The project aims at structuring the available data on freelancers on the Austrian labour market (also taking into account the “grey” labour market). On this basis, recommendations on how to improve the data collection in terms of approach and methodology will be discussed.
