EDUCULT was on site at the children's and family festival on June 16, 2024. Many thanks to the many visitors who were keen to talk and took part in the survey. Research interviews with cooperation partners and artists will take place in the next few weeks.
The NORDMETALL Foundation and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival cooperate in different formats. As part of the partnership, the tenth anniversary of the children’s and family festival in Hasenwinkel Castle Park was celebrated in 2024. As part of the festival, various concerts were held on various stages on June 16, 2024, and music education activities also offered exciting access for young audiences. Local ensembles, music schools, music institutions, etc. contributed to the festival.
This gives reason to evaluate the various activities in the context of music education through an external evaluation. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, the external evaluation is intended to reflect the audience orientation and social added value of the festival. On the basis of the evaluation, the quality of the festival will be assessed in terms of the music education offers, especially for children and young people. In addition, it will be examined to what extent the festival contributes to the design of local cooperation and what role it plays in terms of sustainable audience loyalty. The results of the evaluation illustrate both the effects and strengths of the festival, as well as areas in which further development is possible.
