Evaluation of “X Wohnungen”
Abstract
The format of “X Apartments” has been created in 2002 by Matthias Lilienthal, at that time artistic director of the Hebbel am Ufer Theatre in Berlin. It is a site-specific performance taking place in private apartments of a city or quarter. Small groups of audiences are watching several 10 min scenes on a guided tour through around seven apartments. The performances tell the stories of the place and its inhabitants. The production is shown in Košice – European Capital of Culture end September.
Approach
EDUCULT will carry out a survey to collect the audience feedback. In addition, qualitative interviews with stakeholders will lead to a comprehensive analysis and recommendations for the Goethe-Institut to enhance their cultural offer in Slovakia.
