(Inter)Cultural Capitals across Europe
A Grundtvig-Learning Partnership on Intercultural approaches in adult education in the context of European Capitals of Culture
Short description
EDUCULT is a partner of the Grundtvig Learning Partnership “(Inter)Cultural Capitals across Europe – Intercultural approaches in adult education in the context of European Capitals of Culture”, also taking care of the internal evaluation.
The partnership aims at finding ways to exchange data-based information, experiences, strategies and methods (best practice) in intercultural adult education in the context of the ECoCs (European Capitals of Culture). Specifically, it looks into the question: how can the network of the ECoCs be used to improve the integration of migrants in the area of culture through educational offers?
Other important questions are: Which commonalities and which differences, which advantages and disadvantages of the intercultural approaches of the ECoCs exist? Who are the target groups and how can they benefit from the partnership? How can the contact pool of the ECoCs be enlarged? How can we compare the promotion of intercultural arts and culture in the different countries, including the provision for training and education of the staff?
