The survey among music mediators in Austria, Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland has been completed. The results were presented at the German Orchestra Conference in Halle/Saale on April 24th and discussed in thematic discussions.
In 2014 EDUCULT planned, conducted and evaluated a survey among cultural mediators on their working conditions. With this knowledge, EDUCULT is now carrying out a survey on behalf of and together with the junge ohren network.
The main focus is on questions about motivations for the occupational field, positions within orchestras, career progression, expectations, qualification requirements, etc. The results of the research project will be presented at the next German Orchestral Conference on April 24, 2018 in Halle / Saale.
