The empirical survey was analysed, underwent a theoretical discussion and the results were summarised in a report. The final report was sent to the client. EDUCULT thanks all participating actors, schools and students for their active participation in the study.
The research interest of the study is to analyse the impact of Islamic private schools on social participation of Muslim students in Austria.
The research design implies interdisciplinary approaches on qualitative and quantitative research methods. Along with the concept of Grounded Theorizing, individual stages of the research are being adjusted to one another.
Within an institutional analysis, the institutional framework of Islamic private schools on national and international level is analysed. The empirical research focuses on a qualitative analysis of the perspective and experiences of school directors, teachers, parents and students. Qualitative methods such as interviews, focus groups and round table discussions are being carried out.
