Co-creative evaluation of the «Foyer Public»
With the development of the Fourth Section “Foyer Public”, a new space for mediation is being created at the Theater Basel. As a strategic hub, it is intended to have an effect both externally and internally and to stimulate change. EDUCULT supports the theater in including evaluation in the concept from the very beginning.
Dialogical methods are used for scientific support with a focus on the project logic. The goal is to develop a co-creative evaluation concept that can be applied in the first pilot phase and contributes to the ongoing optimization of processes and thus to the achievement of objectives.
The dialogue-oriented concept development will be designed by EDUCULT in two workshops and developed together with employees of Theater Basel. In an initial objectives workshop, impact dimensions are defined and the basis for developing a Theory of Change is laid. In a further workshop, evaluation methods are developed.
The individual, co-creative evaluation concept includes methods of self-evaluation, which are implemented by theater staff under the constant supervision of EDUCULT. In addition, methods of external evaluation are implemented by EDUCULT. The interpretation of the survey data is again done jointly, which should ensure an optimal transfer of the results.
