Most of the meetings with the user representatives and some stakeholders have been completed. Now that the new business plan has been drawn up, the next step is to rewrite the concept text.
In 2019, the City Council of Frankfurt/Main decided to implement the planning for a municipal theatre for young audiences in the Zoogesellschaftshaus. The architectural competition was realised on the basis of the initial utilisation and operation concept developed in 2020 with a large number of stakeholders and drawn up by EDUCULT. For planning phase three, EDUCULT was commissioned to adapt the original concept due to changed framework conditions such as high inflation rates.
Working meetings with the user representatives and discussions with other stakeholders are at the centre of the development of the new version of the concept. In particular, the focus is on updating the business plan for the anticipated running theatre operations after completion of the renovation. The content of the concept has also evolved and is to be integrated into the new version accordingly.
