Camilla Schön

The focus of Camilla Schön’s (born 1995) artistic activity is on drawing and printmaking. The medium of etching in particular is fascinating and unique for her, as it takes her through a working process that keeps her curious. Until the first impression on the press machine, one does not know exactly what the printing plate will reflect on the paper. Experimenting with shapes and colours and working in series are essential in her work.

In terms of thematic, Camilla Schön follows her intuition. The flow and synthesis of observation of the outside world and nature, as well as drawing from the subconscious are central features of her artistic work.
