Anke Schad-Spindler (she/her) is the managing director of EDUCULT and is primarily involved in applied research and evaluation/impact analysis. She studied cultural and political science in Germany and England and earned her doctorate with a state-award-winning dissertation on Cultural Governance in Austria. Her work focuses on impact analyses of programs and projects, international cultural work in conflict contexts, cultural policy, and democratic development. She complements her experience as an independent entrepreneur to her management activities. She has many years of international research and consulting projects at the intersection of culture and other social fields and is involved in professional committees, including the Austrian UNESCO Commission. She is also a lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the University of Vienna, part of the policy group of DeGEval, thereby strengthening EDUCULT’s professional exchange with international networks and discourses.
