"Cultural policy can (...) create spaces to promote dialogues that are more necessary than ever in our society, without always being about particular interests and party politics." (Shermin Langhoff)
Oliver Löscher studied cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna, dealing with cultural forms of expression in urban areas. In his master’s degree in socioeconomics, he then researched civil society organisations, focusing on financing structures in the cultural sector and Austrian cultural policy.
The changing challenges for the cultural sector led him to work at the interface of cultural management, organisational research and cultural policy. He now implements this approach in a practical way in project management.
At EDUCULT he is active in the organisation and support of projects in the field of cultural education as well as in public relations.
