Sabrina Myriam Mohamed, MA

Sabrina Myriam Mohamed works at EDUCULT in the areas of research, mediation and communications. She studied mass media and communication science as well as gender studies at the University of Vienna. Her focus areas include non-discriminatory language and approaches, particularly at the intersection of gender and experiences of racism. She applies this expertise i.a. to the conception and implementation of participatory formats with children and young adults, as well as to sensitivity readings. She is also a board member of the Austrian Rom*nja Students’ Union (HÖR), which shapes her commitment to the field of remembrance culture. For her artistic work, she received the Mira Lobe Scholarship for Children’s and Young Adult Literature and published the young adult novel “komm runter!” in 2023.
