After graduating from the teacher training college in Vorarlberg, Tanja Nagel has been teaching German and visual arts at a general secondary school for three years.
She then continued higher education at Vienna University and gained a degree in sociology.
Since 2002, Tanja Nagel has been working as a social researcher and evaluator with a focus on social services. In 2008, she joined EDUCULT and has meanwhile gained extensive research and project management experience in the field of cultural education.
Tanja Nagel is a psychotherapist in training under supervision as well as fellow of the working group on culture and cultural policy of the German Evaluation Society (DeGEval) and of the Austrian working group on group therapy and group dynamics (ÖAGG). Her specific area of interest, besides cultural education, is science education.
