We work at the intersection of research, culture, education, politics, and society – in an interdisciplinary, cooperative, and process-oriented manner.

We combine research, evaluation, and consulting to provide evidence-based foundations for decision-making, promote education and participation, and create spaces for exchange, reflection, and renewal. Through our own projects and in cooperation with partners from politics, administration, science, civil society, education, and culture, we develop practical knowledge and innovative solutions. In doing so, we strive to analyse social processes in a nuanced manner and actively contribute to shaping them.

Together with long-standing partners and external experts, we make an impact at local, national, European, and international levels. Our broad range of expertise enables us to respond flexibly to different issues and contexts and to open up sustainable paths for further development.

Our work is based on clear ethical standards. To this end, we have developed our own child protection framework.

EDUCULT was founded in 2003 as a non-profit association under Austrian law. Since 2024, operational management has been carried out by a co-executive leadership, jointly responsible for the content, strategy, and economic development of the institute. The EDUCULT team stands for continuity, experience, and commitment, ensuring high quality, broad expertise, and reliable management. An honorary board advises the executive leadership and ensures that our work aligns with the purposes set out in our statutes.
