Communities & Dialogue

Through community and dialogue projects, we strengthen cultural education, social participation, and the exchange of pluralistic perspectives. Our projects are based on co-creative, participatory, multilingual, and artistic approaches. These approaches create spaces that promote listening and dialogue and, in doing so, strengthen social cohesion.

In all our projects, we place great importance on inclusive and barrier-free access. We understand discrimination-sensitive work as an ongoing process of learning and reflection – we continuously examine how participation can be facilitated and perspectives strengthened, while also reflecting on our positions and structures.

Our work addresses socially relevant issues and creates a framework for encounters and open dialogue. By making barriers visible and actively breaking them down, our projects make an effective contribution to equal opportunities, equitable participation, and social accessibility. An anti-discriminatory stance shapes both the design of our formats and our cooperation with partners and communities. Social cohesion emerges where plural perspectives are made visible and equitable access enables participation for as many people as possible

The division into cultural, youth, and educational projects does not fully reflect our work. We develop formats in which these areas continually intersect, thereby dissolving their categorisations.

Formen & Methoden

Workshops:

We have extensive expertise in designing and implementing project-specific formats.

Artistic and creative formats (e.g. exhibitions, performances):

We use artistic and creative methods to bring topics to life in different ways, drawing on our many years of experience and expertise in various forms of communication, such as theatre and art education.

Youth projects:

We develop participatory formats that open up spaces for young people to gain their own experiences and express themselves – grounded in longstanding experience and a sensitive, trust-based approach.

Networking and dialogue:

We bring together stakeholders from culture, education, politics, and society to strengthen cooperation and initiate new impulses.

Salon of Cultures

The Salon of Cultures has been a recurring event series since 2010, taking place at decentralised venues across Vienna. We design and deliver the series, which brings together artistic positions and socio-political themes to create spaces for dialogue that foster inclusive ways of living together.
