On 26 April 2018, the University of Applied Arts Vienna hosted the one-day symposium "Changing Politics - Changing Cultures", in collaboration with EDUCULT. On February 1 and 2 the meeting "Cultural Policy and Arts Education. A First African-European Exchange", will be held at the Bundesakademie für kulturelle Bildung in Wolfenbüttel/Germany. Participants from Kenia, South Africa, Tansania, Uganda, Germany and Austria are going to discuss the question, which role Arts Education plays in Africa and Europe. The research atelier is hosted by the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy for the Arts in Development (Hildesheim/Germany) in cooperation with the Bundesakademie für Kulturelle Bildung Wolfenbüttel/Germany and EDUCULT (Vienna/Austria)
