ICCPR 2024

EDUCULT was represented by four colleagues at the ICCPR 2024 in Warsaw. Dr. Anke Schad-Spindler gave the lecture “Evaluations in cultural policy contexts: institutional intentions, semantic ambiguities, and political contestations” together with Prof. Tasos Zembylas (mdw).

Helena Deiß and Rida Arif Siddiqui presented the results of the EDUCULT research project “Colonialism today?!” as part of their paper “Decolonization in the context of hegemony? Participation as driving force for democratic processes in museums”.

Dr. Aron Weigl participated in the panel on “Cultural Policy and Decolonization – critical reflections on the cultural politics of a decolonial approach to policy knowledge and cultural participation” and, as a member of the ICCPR Scientific Committee, delivered the conclusio at the closing ceremony of the conference, which you can read here.
