Dr. Aron Weigl

Aron Weigl (he/him) is Managing Director of EDUCULT and is primarily involved in evaluations, consulting, and concept developments in the fields of cultural policy and cultural education. He studied Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practices as well as Business Administration at the University of Hildesheim and earned his doctorate in cultural policy. His work focuses on the conception and management of cultural programs and organizations, funding systems, cultural participation, cultural mediation, and international cooperation. In this capacity, he implements research and consulting projects for city administrations, ministries, the European Commission, cultural institutions, foundations, umbrella organizations, and others. Additionally, he is a lecturer in Scientific Project Management at the University of Vienna and is active in international professional networks and committees related to cultural policy and cultural education including the scientific advisory board of the International Conference on Cultural Policy Research (ICCPR) and the European Network of Observatories for Cultural Education (ENO).
