“Painting is a kind of response to the pain and cruelty of our endless wars. My art is an inner monologue about loneliness, expressed through my paintings, to enter into a dialogue with the beholder on my memories, full of color, violence and burnt soil and on my present, conditioned by despair, restlessness and fear of the unknown.”
Tina Greisberger
Tina Greisberger was born in 1989 in Salzburg. Since autumn 2011 she has been studying Fine Arts at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Her work covers drawings, paintings and graphic reproductions.
Selected exhibitions: Alte Meister – Junge Meister (Galerie Hochdruck, Vienna, 2013), ZURETA (Ausstellungszentrum Heiligenkreutzerhof, Vienna, 2015), Doppelspiel (Ausstellungszentrum Heiligenkreutzerhof, Vienna, 2015), Stage Diving (Vienna Contemporary, Marx Halle, Vienna)
“You can make sketches anytime and try to line up thoughts. But in order to start with the realization, you have to wait until everything gets compact and irrefragable. You have to wait, until an inner necessity arises. The possibilities to influence my work are limited to being present until the process starts by itself.”
Philipp Renda
Philipp Renda was born in 1989 in Munich. Since 2010 he has been studying Fine Arts in the class of Graphics at the University of Applied Arts. Since 2012 he has been the co-founder and co-designer of the label „Fuxherz“.
Selected exhibitions: „Illy Art Can Wettbewerb”, Vienna Contemporary and Künstlerhaus (Vienna, 2015), „K.u.K.“, Pratersauna (Vienna,2015), “meet your artists”, Galerie Hochdruck (Vienna, 2014), “the WALLproject”, Sziget festival (Budapest, 2014), “Soundframe:Open Studio”, mo.e, brut (Vienna, 2014)
“In my present work I mainly deal with stories and their rearrangement. I try in my very own subjective way, to find new interpretative spaces, beginnings and ends, and new junctions between the existing story lines. It is not only about getting inspired, but mainly about finding the small thoughts between the big ones (or the other way round) and thinking them in a totally new way. The quotation as a starting point is mixed with autobiographical elements into a new narrative of drawings, text and material.”INFORMATION
