Gudrun Schweigkofler Wienerberger was born in 1964 in Bolzano/Italy, and has been living in Vienna since 1984. Since graduating in theatre and communication studies, she has been working at tanzAffiche, Falter Verlag and at national and international dance and theatre festivals. She is also the foudner of the project KinderKultur at WUK (“House for Workshops and Culture”), and headed the advisory team for arts mediation at KulturKontaktAustria. She has been the director of Musisches Zentrum Wien since 2011.
